An Interactive Guide to Conspiracy Theories
Print design, UI, passion project
An interactive risograph zine that explores a collection of unquestionably true conspiracy theories in an interactive format. Printed at The Cauldron Press.
This is a zine that I designed and produced in order to explore the world of physical interaction design. I have always been a fan of conspiracies (be sure to tell me your favorite), so I knew that had to be the subject matter. From there, I made a list of some of my personal favorites, and designed spreads for them all. The goal was to implement interaction into the zine as much as possible, almost mimicking children’s books (think books with pop-ups, textures, etc.)
This project also introduced me to the process of printing on a risograph printer. I had the opportunity to set up the pages and layers for print and oversee production. Upon completion of the printing, I also dabbled in some book binding. This zine series was sold at RISD Unbound Art Book Fair at the Rhode Island School of Design.
